These include wafer fabrication processes for a wide variety of devices, a hands-on working knowledge of most equipment used in wafer processing, and an understanding of the physics of most device structures. In addition to knowledge of the devices and processes, the Principle Consultant, Michael Beaver, is very experienced with the systems used to control the flow of material in processing factory, particularly PROMIS, which is widely used both domestically and off-shore. In addition to detailed knowledge about the semiconductor industry, Mr. Beaver has a high level of overall technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex ideas in terms understandable to those without a technical education.
Principal Consultant Michael Beaver has experience working with legal professionals and has performed such tasks as sifting technical documents for applicability to a specific issue, providing technical leadership for off-shore site visits, and directing the editing of video evidence.
Michael Beaver, the Principal Consultant, has a strong educational background, including a Engineering B.S. from the California Institute of Technology and an MSEE/Solid State Physics from the University of Southern California. This has been augmented with over two decades of experience as engineer and manager in the semiconductor industry, over five years of consulting experience, and a number of programming courses from UCSC extension and several years of programming experience with multiple languages.
