This section has programs for the Microsoft desktop that I have found useful. The reasons for writing them are varied, but all are ones I use.
This program is to create box liners for CD jewel cases. I got frustrated by having piles of
CD's that I had to sort thru to identify. The commercial programs all seemed to depend on special
(expensive) paper, making the cost of the box liner as much as the cost of a blank disc. This program
uses plain paper and outputs a sheet with fold and cut lines, with the CD Title in the right place.
The program does not require any installation and also does not modify the registry
(a version with
an install program, desktop icon, and registry entries will be added later), so it can be easily
removed if you don't like it. The program is shareware, but does not nag or expire. It does
require that you have the MFC40.dll file in your Windows/System folder (you probably have it now-
check before you download, as it is over 400K as a zip file).
This file is needed for all Visual C++/MFC programs. You run it either from the RUN command or
by clicking on it from Windows Explorer or My Computer. You can also create your own
desktop shortcut if you use it a lot.
