ReadMe file for CDBox.exe.

This program is designed to produce box inserts for CD jewel cases. When
compared to commercial programs for this purpose, significant savings can be
realized. The real cost of other programs is the special paper required. This
often can cost $1 per insert, hardly a bargain when compared to jewel cases,
that can be had for 50 cents or less.

A stiff paper will yield better results, but even standard printer paper will
yield high quality inserts when folded accurately. Hint: fold and sharply
crease the fold lines before trimming off the outer lines. Outer trim is not
critical as long as the side lines are fully removed.

No installation is required for this program. You can put it in any directory
and run it by double clicking it in explorer or My Computer. It can also be
run from the RUN command in the START menu. The support file MFC40.dll is
required in the windows/system directory. If you do not already have this file,
you will need to load it. It is the Microsoft Foundation Library support
file and is meant to be distributed with applications built using Microsoft
Visual C++. It should run on Win95, Win98, or NT. It will not run on Win3x or
DOS. Any printer supported under Windows that handles letter size paper should
work. Color is not currently supported, but can be added if there is enough
interest.
